On January 7, 2022, Baniel Dariush vs Islam Makhachev match was reported as the headliner bout. Later on February 17, 2022, Dariush withdrew from the bout due to an ankle injury. Bobby Green replaced Dariush on short notice, and the bout was turned into a catchweight bout at 160 lbs.
On December 1, 2021, a fight between Cirkunov and Makhmud Muradov was first reported by Igor Lazorin on Instagram for this event. Later on January 27, 2022, Muradov announced via Instagram that he has suffered a hand injury. On January 28, 2022, UFC announced Turman as a replacement for Muradov. Turman was earlier preparing to fight Rodolfo Vieira at UFC 270, but Vieira pulled out of the fight due to medical reasons.
On January 13, 2022, John Hoyn Ko reported Priscilla Cachoeira vs Ji Yeon Kim to take place at this event.
On November 29, 2021, Igor Lazorin reported Arman Tsarukyan vs Joel Alvarez to take place at this event.
On December 02, 2021, ESPN Deportes first reported Victor Altamirano vs Carlos Hernandez take place at this event.
On December 11, 2021, Haysport version 2.0 reported Armen Petrosyan vs Gregory Rodrigues to take place at this event.
On January 13, 2022, Marcel Dorff initially reported Josiane Nunes vs. Wu Yanan to take place at this event. later on January 26, 2022, Yanan withdrew from the bout due to unknown reasons. On February 18, Romona Pascual replaced Yanan.
On October 15, 2021, CC Legaspi of ESPN Deportes reported Zhu Rong vs Ignacio Bahamondes to take place at this event.
On November 22, 2021, Mulitple sources confirmed Jinh Yu Frey vs Hannah Goldy match to take place at this event. On February 23, 2022, the bout was scrapped due to illness to Hannah Goldy.
On December 23, 2021, ESPN Deportes first reported Jonathan Martinez vs Alejandro Perez match as a bantamweight bout. On February 23, UFC revealed it to be a featherweight bout.(source)
On January 12, 2021, Gillmore confirmed the bout against Jonny Parsons via Instagram. Later on February 17, 2022, Gillmore posted on his Instagram story that Parsons is replaced by Brahimaj.
Fares Ziam vs Terrance McKinney was scheduled to fight at UFC Fight Night on November 20, 2021. However, one of the cornermen for McKinney was tested positive for COVID-19 and the bout was canceled . On December 4, 2021, Iridium Sports Agency confirmed via Instagram that the bout is rescheduled for this event.
