Правда, в таком случае вам будет доступна только одиночная игра, то есть играть придется не с живыми людьми, а ботами. Причем вам будет отведена только роль предателя.

Игровой процесс практически такой же, как и в многопользовательской версии – избавляйтесь от космонавтов, но делайте это так, чтобы вас не заметили, и никто не догадался, что это именно вы предатель. Имейте в виду, что голосование в одиночной игре будет происходить без вашего участия.

Among US – многопользовательская игра, которая буквально взорвала интернет и стала невероятно популярной благодаря оригинальному и захватывающему геймплею. Действие игры происходит на космическом корабле. Все ее персонажи – мультяшные космонавты, которые визуально различаются только цветами.

Цель экипажа – выполнить все задания, касающиеся ремонта космического корабля. Сделать это не так просто, ведь мешают им предатели (импосторы), которые выглядят так же, как и остальные космонавты и ничем себя не выдают. Они тайком убивают остальных космонавтов и устраивают саботажи. Существует версия, что предатели – это на самом деле инопланетяне, замаскированные под людей.

Чтобы не дать предателям уничтожить весь экипаж, членам команды необходимо вовремя сообразить кто именно в их рядах предатель, и вышвырнуть его за борт в открытый космос. Определить кто импостор можно лишь двумя способами – дедуктивным методом или поймав предателя с поличным во время совершения преступления, к примеру, убийства одного из членов экипажа.

Решение о том, кого из команды вышвырнуть, принимается путем всеобщего обсуждения и голосования после каждого раунда, когда кто-то из команды обнаруживает труп одного из членов экипажа. В нем принимает участие и сам предатель, задача которого – ввести в заблуждение других игроков. Интрига заключается в том, что команда может ошибиться и выбросить вместо предателя своего соратника и тем самым снизить шансы на победу.

Экипаж победит лишь в том случае, если вовремя сможет избавиться от всех предателей на борту или успеет выполнить все задания. Если же предателям удается избавиться почти от всех членов экипажа до того, как они выполнят задания, победа оказывается в их руках.

В отличие от большинства других многопользовательских игр, в Among US игроки не могут выбирать за кого им играть. Импосторы назначаются рандомно перед каждой игровой сессией. Единственное, в настройках игры можно указать общее количество игроков, а также количество предателей – один, два или три.

Cosmetics that players can choose from (before )

Cosmetics grant little gameplay advantage and mostly serve the purpose of supporting the developers. However, if someone is An Impostor and is running away or using a vent, people can identify them by a hat or pet because they make the space of their character larger. On the other hand, if someone is a Crewmate, then cosmetics could be used to verify that a player was in a location. Some cosmetics slightly hide the color of the player, which can further confuse other players. Players with different cosmetics also assist colorblind players in telling characters apart.
